Fr. Louis P. Masi was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. Together with his family, he was an active parishioner at St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus in Pelham Bay in the Bronx. He attended Regis High School in New York City and it was there that he seriously discerned God's call to the priesthood. Upon graduation from Regis he began a decade-long journey of formation for the priesthood. He spent time preparing for the priesthood at New York’s St. John Neumann Seminary, the Theological College in Washington, DC, and The Pontifical North American College in Rome. While in Washington, DC, he completed a Bachelor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.B.) and Licentiate in Philosophy (Ph.L.) at The Catholic University of America. While in Rome, he received a Bachelor of Sacred Theology Degree (S.T.B.) from the Pontifical Gregorian University and a Diploma in Joseph Ratzinger Studies and Spirituality from the Patristic Institute Augustinianum. He was ordained a deacon in the Papal Archbasilica of St. Peter in the Vatican and soon thereafter was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of New York by Timothy Cardinal Dolan at the Cathedral of St. Patrick in New York City. Immediately after priestly ordination, he returned to Rome to complete a Licentiate in Patristic Theology and Sciences (S.T.L.) at the Patristic Institute Augustinianum. He began serving as Parochial Vicar of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill in July 2019.
